Data Science Center (DSC)

Data Science Center DSC is part of the Lembaga Sains Terapan LST FMIPA Universitas Indonesia. DSC is engaged in research, development, applied and business incubation related to data science, big data analytics and advanced computing.

Vision:

To be the center of excellence and business incubation in the fields of data science, advanced computing, and big data analytics in Indonesia.

Mission:
  • Develop superior methods and applications in the fields of data science, advanced computing and big data analytics in supporting the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, as well as the progress of the Indonesian nation.
  • Providing course services, certified training and professional programs related to data science, advanced computing, and big data analytics to support improving the quality of Indonesian human resources in facing the era of industrial revolution 4.0.
  • Providing consulting, analysis and data processing management services in general and in particular related to big data analytics and advanced computing.
  • Establishing collaboration with government, private and industrial institutions related to data science technology and information in general in order to realize accelerated development, utilization and processing data.
  • To become one of the leading centers for data science development and research, and a start-up business incubation center in the fields of data science, advanced computing, and big data analytics.
