  • Our energy transition research focus on renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, hydropower, and bioenergy and low-carbon energy consist of green hydrogen, nuclear and synthetic fuels as well as carbon capture and storage to increase their share in Indonesia’s energy mix for achieving net-zero emissions.
  • Improves energy efficiency by electrification across value chains especially end users and reducing energy waste and environmental impact. Energy efficiency offers some of the fastest and cost-effective action to reduce GHG emissions. Electrification means replacing technologies that use fossil fuel with electrically powered such as adoption of Electric Vehicle (EV) in transport sector that can improve energy efficiency reducing emissions.
  • Research and advocacy for effective energy policies and regulations especially on the pathways of energy technology, emission trajectory and investment needed to ensure achieving net-zero transition targets and energy security in fair and affordable manners.
